The DSPIAE MS-02 vibrating paint stirrer mixes settled pigment in a bottle without opening it. An electric helper for airbrush paints and washes.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a power tool, not a paint. The vibrating stirrer from the Chinese maker DSPIAE sets a bottle standing on the work surface oscillating in such a way that the pigment settled at the bottom is mixed back in. The manufacturer gives up to 3200 oscillations per minute and offers a choice of power; foreign retailers describe either three speed settings or control through an app, so they differ on that detail. At its heart is a brushless motor mounted on ball bearings.
For modelers who spray with an airbrush and keep a larger stock of paints. Metallics and paints with a coarser pigment are the main reason to buy one, because with them shaking by hand is often not enough and a poorly mixed paint gives an uneven surface. Before buying, consider what diameter of bottle you use, because very tall or, conversely, very wide bottles need not stand steadily on the surface. The stirrer also only partly takes the place of an agitator ball in the bottle: with a paint that has settled into a hard layer at the bottom, it pays to shake it by hand first and only then to finish the mixing on the device.
This is an electrical device. Do not use it near an open flame, because solvent-based paints are flammable, and do not leave it working unattended. Keep out of the reach of children.
