DSPIAE PMT-SP is precut masking tape with a squiggle pattern. The individual pieces are peeled off and stuck onto the model, so a wavy camouflage comes about without any freehand cutting.

A sheet of masking tape in which the pattern is already finished from the factory. You therefore do not have to trace or cut anything out: you peel a piece off with tweezers, stick it onto the model and spray over the surroundings. The squiggle pattern imitates what is known as snake camouflage, that is elongated zigzag fields, which are the hardest of all to do freehand, because every wave has to have a similar width and rhythm.
It can be used in two ways. Either you stick the cut pieces themselves on and spray around them, so that the squiggle stays in the original color, or you leave the surrounding frame on the model and the paint reaches only the pattern. The second route gives the reverse image of the same scheme and suits cases where the zigzag line is meant to be the darker one.
The set is aimed at modelers who spray multicolor schemes on aircraft, vehicles and robot figures and do not want to cut every shape out separately. It will also be appreciated by those who need to repeat the same pattern on several models in one series.
The tape is a masking aid, not a decal. Once the spraying is done and it has been peeled off, it is thrown away.
