Modeling material from the Czech brand Plusmodel. It is neither a kit nor an accessory for a model: these are smooth polystyrene sheets 1.5 millimeters thick in the larger format, out of which you cut the parts you need yourself. The material suits diorama bases, bulkheads, repairs and making the parts that are in no kit at all.
A thickness of 1.5 millimeters is great enough for the sheet to hold its shape even over a larger area, so it will serve as the base of a diorama, as the wall of a building or as a load-bearing part inside a model. At the same time it is still easy to work with an ordinary knife. Polystyrene is glued with the same cement as plastic models, so a part made from the sheet merges with the kit and the joint holds just as firmly as with the original parts.
Do not cut the sheet through in one pass: score it with a knife along a ruler and then snap it, and the edge will be straighter. For round holes use a circle cutter or a drill at low speed, otherwise the material melts. Sand the surface with fine paper before painting and degrease it. Textures such as joints or planks can be scribed into the sheet with a blunt point.
This is material for further work. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
