A set of modeling saws for cutting plastic and fine profiles. The tool for places where a knife would slip and nippers could not reach.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of saws intended for modeling work with plastic. They are not parts and not an accessory to a kit, but tools. A saw solves situations that neither a knife nor nippers can handle: thicker profiles, separating a part in the middle of an area, or a cut in a place where a slipped knife would damage the surface of the model.
It will be used most by modelers who modify, convert or add to their builds: without a saw you cannot open the hood of a vehicle or separate a rudder from the tail surfaces. But a saw comes in useful during an ordinary build too, whenever a part has to be separated in a place where a knife will not run straight.
Before the cut, mark the line out with a thin scriber or the point of a knife. The saw then holds the track and will not run off a smooth surface. On parts that are to seat against each other again after being cut apart, reckon with the cut taking away a little material, so it is better to run it slightly further out and make up the difference by sanding. Then level the cut faces on abrasive paper laid on a flat board, so that the parts seat against each other exactly again.
Cut by pulling toward yourself and without pressure; plastic is soft and the saw will go through it by itself. When cutting resin, use respiratory protection, because its dust is not something to breathe in. The tool has sharp teeth, so keep it out of the reach of children.
