A resin set of two sprockets for the King Tiger, the late type with 18 teeth (pattern 2) in 1:35 scale. An alternative version of the wheel for more faithful running gear on a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a model of a tank but a detail accessory (aftermarket) for building one. The set holds two resin sprockets with 18 teeth in the late type version, pattern 2, as a replacement for the plastic sprockets on a model of the King Tiger (Tiger II) heavy tank in 1:35 scale. It differs from pattern 1 in the details of the pressing and in the rendition, so it matches a different production series.
The sprocket passes the drive to the track. The King Tiger used several variants of the late 18-tooth wheel; pattern 2 makes it possible to build the vehicle with the matching shape of the wheel and the exact tooth spacing for the track to engage.
Wash the mold release agent off the castings, cut them off the gates and fit them to the axles. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and wear respiratory protection while sanding. Check how they line up with the idler wheel and the upper run of the track before the final fixing.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
