A decal sheet with railway lettering and graffiti in a black, single-color finish. The black variant has a different use from the color one: it suits light surfaces, sprayed lettering and marks, simple tags and anywhere a colorful motif would be too conspicuous and would overpower the rest of the scene.
The motifs are used on wagons and containers, on light retaining walls and underpasses, on shutters, on sheet-metal fences and on facades. The black finish combines well with the color variant: you complete one large colorful motif with a few black tags and the surface then looks like layers that have built up over time rather than a one-off decoration.
Apply the decal onto a gloss surface, otherwise a matte shadow will appear around it. Release it in lukewarm water and lay it onto a moistened area. On coarse masonry use a decal softener and press the decal down with a cotton bud. Once dry, varnish over it with matte varnish. A black motif will even take partial sanding through, which suggests that somebody has been trying to get the lettering off.
This is a decal sheet and does not contain a model itself. Paints and varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
