This is a resin figure set from the South Korean brand Tori Factory. It follows on from the subject of cleaning and maintaining a jet fighter and holds, on top of that, an access stair by which the crew climbs to the cockpit and the upper part of the airframe. It is not a model of an aircraft but a diorama addition to a finished fighter model. It is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin kit.
The set captures modern ground personnel looking after an aircraft between flights. An access stair is ordinary equipment of a parking area at an air base and gives the technicians comfortable access to the cockpit and to the surfaces of the airframe. The combination of the figures and the stair brings a flight scene strongly to life.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, carefully cut away the casting blocks (gates) and dry-fit them. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. It pays to paint the stair with a filler primer and to add a light patina (a wash) for a worn, in-service look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
