This is a resin figure from the South Korean brand Tori Factory. It captures a fantasy knight in plate armor, that is a fantasy subject outside the maker's usual military themes. It is a collector's figure suitable for display on its own and as a striking element for a fantasy diorama. It is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin kit.
A knight in plate armor is a classic subject of collector's figures. The fantasy treatment gives the builder freedom in painting the metal, the helmets, the cloaks and the weapons and invites strong shading and wear effects. The figure thus offers room for creative painting.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, carefully cut away the casting blocks (gates) and dry-fit them. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. For the metal armor, metallic paints or the NMM technique (non-metallic metal) work well, brought out with washes and drybrushing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
