This resin, 3D-printed kit from the Polish maker Lukgraph captures the Grumman G-21 Goose amphibian in its civilian form, in 1:32 scale. It is a complete kit in resin and 3D print meant for experienced modelers, not injection-molded plastic. The civilian version offers the typical fittings of the passenger cabin interior.
The Grumman G-21 Goose was an American twin-engine high-wing amphibian originally designed as a luxury transport. Thanks to its sturdy boat hull and reliable radial engines it found work in civil transport, with government agencies and in remote regions as an all-purpose machine able to operate from water and from land alike.
First wash the resin and printed parts free of mold release agent residue and carefully cut off the casting blocks and the print supports. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding resin. We recommend a good primer and an airbrush; the gloss surfaces of a civilian finish come out on a smoothly sanded and filled base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
