The seat is a prominent element of an open cockpit. A resin casting offers finer detail than the simple seat from the base kit.
Separate the seat from the casting block, clean it up and seat it in the cockpit. The belts can be added from photo-etched parts or from fabric belts. Paint it with a brush and pick it out with a light wash.
