The photo-etched set 1:700 WWII USN AA Weapon I from Flyhawk. A set of details for American anti-aircraft weapons for warships of the Second World War in 1:700 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched detail set in 1:700 scale, that is, an accessory to a kit, not a model in its own right. The set from Flyhawk brings fine photo-etched parts for the American anti-aircraft weapons of US Navy warships of the Second World War period.
American ships carried numerous light and medium anti-aircraft armament. The photo-etched parts sharpen above all the shields, the sights, the platforms, the small railings and other fine features around the anti-aircraft positions, which plastic cannot capture faithfully in this scale. The set is marked as part I and concentrates on a particular group of weapons that suit a range of American vessels.
Separate the small parts from the fret with a sharp knife, bend them over a straight edge and glue them with spots of cyanoacrylate. Fit them only once the weapons have been basically assembled on the model, then spray the whole thing with primer. We recommend tweezers, a magnifier and a steady hand.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
