This is an additional photo-etched set, not a ship model in its own right. The package holds photo-etched brass railings intended for German warships of the Second World War period in 1:700 scale. It replaces coarse plastic or missing railings and gives decks a fine, scale-correct look.
Photo-etched railings are one of the basic features of super-detailing ships. The parts are bent to a right angle and glued around the edges of the decks, the bridge and the platforms. The set usually holds railings with various numbers of rails for various places on the ship.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel and bend them with a photo-etch bending tool or two razor blades. Glue them with the smallest possible amount of cyanoacrylate glue. It is best to lay the paint down only once they have been glued in place, so that the railings hold both shape and shade.
