This is an additional photo-etched set, not a model in its own right. The package holds photo-etched parts for building a modern accommodation ladder in 1:700 scale. It is a folding ship's stairway that is lowered along the side of the hull at anchor and serves for the crew to board.
The accommodation ladder is a conspicuous feature of the side of modern warships, which plastic kits mostly render only in a simplified way. The photo-etched parts offer faithful treads, railings and a platform, so that once assembled it looks fine and three-dimensional and visibly brings the side of the hull to life.
Separate the parts with a scalpel, bend them gently to the drawing and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Because of the tiny treads, tweezers and a magnifier come in handy. It is worth spraying the assembly with paint before you finally fit it to the hull.
