A decal set for a model of the A112 Abarth with race number 203 in the competition form from 1982, 1:24 scale, for Fujimi kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The A112 Abarth is the sharp version of a small Italian hatchback which was sold under the Autobianchi brand within the Fiat group. A short wheelbase, low weight and a lively engine made it a popular competition car of the lower classes and at the same time a school for a whole generation of Italian drivers. On competition courses it appeared in color forms that turned an ordinary city car into a machine impossible to overlook.
The package brings decals in 1:24 scale for the car with race number 203 in the competition form from 1982 and it is prepared for Fujimi kits. The decals carry both advertising and competition markings, so the model takes on the particular appearance of one car instead of a generic color variant.
Decals belong only on a finished coat, best of all on a glossy layer; on a matte surface a white veil forms under the film. Cut them out close to the artwork, dip them in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let them rest until they can be moved over the backing paper. Move them into place, line them up with a soft brush and press the water out with a cloth from the center to the edges. Over curves, recesses and grilles softener helps, as it pulls the decal into the shape. Once they are dry, go over the whole car with a coat so that the edges of the film disappear.
For modelers of competition cars who want to build a particular machine and will not settle for the decals from the box. The kit, paints, clear coat and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
