Quickboost is a range of simple but striking details that are more accurate and finer than the parts from the box — molded plastic wipers tend to be coarse, or are missing from the kit altogether. The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk is an American light carrier-based attack aircraft, valued for its small size, agility and reliability. The A-4C version is one of the early production variants and served above all with the US Navy. The windshield wipers are a small but noticeable feature that completes the pilot area.
Carefully separate the fine parts from their casting block with a sharp modeling knife — because they are brittle, work slowly and over a cutting mat. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); cement for plastic does not hold on resin. The wipers are best painted separately before being glued on, and fitted only after the canopy has been completed and glazed, so that they are not damaged during handling.
