A set of figures of American infantry in 1:32 scale focused on the crews of heavy infantry weapons from the time of the landing in Normandy.
Responsibility details are not available.
The landing in Normandy in June 1944 set American infantry before fighting in broken and enclosed terrain, where the advance was often decided by weapons served by a whole squad. Such weapons were carried broken down into several loads, the crew set them up in the firing position together, and bringing up the ammunition was part of their work as well. In a scene, therefore, a heavy weapon never stands alone; there are always several figures around it.
The package brings figures of American soldiers in 1:32 scale on the theme of the crews of heavy infantry weapons. For figures 1:32 scale is one of the larger ones: an adult figure measures around five and a half centimeters, so the equipment and the carriage of the body stand out on it.
Before painting, wash the figures in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and let them dry, because paint does not hold on a greasy surface. Try the adhesion of the base on one figure and only then paint the rest of the set. The American field uniform can be played out rewardingly in shades of olive and brown; give every figure a slightly different combination of jacket, trousers and equipment. Paint the weapon and the crew separately and join them only at the end, otherwise you cannot get a brush between the figures.
For modelers who build scenes from the Western Front of 1944 and for collectors of figures in a larger scale. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
