A set of figures of members of the Kriegsmarine of the Second World War in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The figures capture members of the Kriegsmarine of the period of the Second World War. Such figures belong on a deck, in a harbor and at a coastal position: without people, even a carefully built ship or harbor scene looks empty and loses its scale.
Dioramas with vessels and harbor equipment in 1:72 scale, coastal buildings and bringing a display case to life. The figures also serve well as something to be measured against: the viewer immediately estimates from them the size of the ship or the building next to them.
Wash and degrease the figures before painting and apply a base coat, because otherwise the paint will not hold on the small surfaces. Then comes the basic shade of the uniform, darker emphasis of the folds and a light drybrush on the edges and the faces. Depending on the duty and the season, dark as well as light uniforms are met with in the navy, so one set can be treated differently every time.
At 1:72 scale do not overdo either the shading or the number of shades, otherwise the figure goes coarse. Let the last layer be a matte varnish, which unifies the surface and protects the paint. The manufacturer's instructions give the particular procedure.
For builders of ship models and harbor dioramas and for collectors of figures in 1:72 scale who are looking for human figures to fill empty decks and quaysides.
Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
