A 3D-printed resin ejection seat, Art Scale 1:72 ACES II for the A-10A Thunderbolt II — with belts, replaces the cockpit seat of the model with a finely printed part including authentic harness straps.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a 3D-printed resin detail set, not an airplane model. It replaces the cockpit ejection seat with the ACES II version for the A-10A Thunderbolt II attack aircraft, in a version with authentically rendered harness straps. Scale 1:72. Even at this small scale, the print captures fine detail that is hard to reproduce in injection-molded plastic.
The seat is clearly visible even under the attack aircraft's canopy glazing, and its accuracy raises the overall impression of the model. ACES II is an American zero-zero (zero altitude, zero speed) ejection seat, used among others in the A-10 Thunderbolt II. In this version the belts are already part of the part, so there is no need to add them separately.
Wash the small part to remove any uncured print resin residue, very carefully cut it away from the print supports and clean it up. Glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue); protect your airways when sanding. Apply a primer before painting and pick out the belts in a shade different from the seat shell.
This is not a complete model. The set does not include glue, paints or a kit; it serves as an accessory for a base model.
