Ten snow-covered model trees and firs 7 to 14 cm tall. Finished accessories for a winter diorama, a layout or a gaming board.
Responsibility details are not available.
Ten trees in a snow-covered version, in a mix of deciduous trees and coniferous firs. The heights run from 7 to 14 cm, so the set is not uniform: it holds lower and taller pieces from which a group with naturally uneven crowns can be composed. These are finished trees from the Heki range; nothing is assembled.
A winter scene built from trees of one height looks like an orchard. A range of 7 to 14 cm therefore saves work: you put the taller pieces at the front or on a ridge of the terrain and the lower ones at the back and toward the edges. Convert the height for your scale: seven to fourteen centimeters corresponds at 1:87 to trees roughly 6.1 to 12.2 meters tall, and in 1:35 scale to approximately 2.5 to 4.9 meters.
Snow-covered crowns hold the impression of winter only when there is snow under the trees as well. Set the trees, then, into terrain that already has a white surface, or add snow material around the trunks at the very end. In a soft surface the trunk is pushed in; in a solid board drill a hole to match the diameter of the trunk and secure the joint with a drop of glue. Alternate the conifers and the broadleaves irregularly; a continuous row of one species looks artificial.
For builders of winter scenes who want to plant a whole stand of growth from one package rather than just one spot. It will come into its own on a layout, on a diorama with vehicles and as greenery around a gaming board. The base, the terrain, snow scatter, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
