A real wood is never of a single species, and that is exactly what the credibility of a model landscape rests on. Fir grows in shadier and damper positions, usually mixed with spruce and beech, so the three firs in the package need not form a group of their own: they will fit far better among the trees you already have on the scene and will break up the monotony of growth made of a single species. They will serve just as well as the edge of a wood by the line or as an addition to a group that looks too uniform on a scene.
The trees are 17 cm. In 1:87 scale that corresponds to a height of roughly 15 meters, in 1:72 scale to about 12 meters and in 1:35 scale to just under 6 meters. There is no scale in the name, so make the conversion for your own scene. With three pieces of the same height it is worth creating a difference artificially: plant one tree deeper or in a hollow and its top will be visually lowered.
Drill a hole in the base to match the diameter of the trunk, glue the tree in and check that it stands upright. Under conifers the soil tends to be different from a meadow: dark, without grass, covered with needles and small twigs. Suggest that with dark scatter or fine granulate and only add grass and scrub at the edge of the group. That will save you the impression of trees pushed into a green carpet. Choose irregular spacing between the trunks and set them at different distances from the viewer, so that the group gains depth.
