A dark cork bed in a flexible version for N gauge, 3.6 meters in total. A more pliable material that takes curves more easily.
Responsibility details are not available.
Cork strips in a dark and markedly more flexible version, intended for N gauge. The box contains six strips of sixty centimeters each, three point six meters in total. Two strips laid together always give a finished bed with slopes beveled at an angle of forty-five degrees.
For this line the manufacturer states a higher quality and considerably greater pliability than for the basic strips. In practice that means the material follows curves better and wrinkles less on the outside. It is on curves that it is decided whether the permanent way will look even: cork that has folded or torn prints through into the profile of the ballast, and on finished track that shows.
For builders of N gauge layouts, especially where a line has plenty of curves. The manufacturer is a German company specializing in scenery accessories, and production takes place in Germany. In a small gauge it pays to go over the cork with sandpaper once it is glued down, because even slight unevenness shows in running at this ratio. Before covering it with ballast, test the line with the longest train you intend to operate.
