HEKI stone ballast, red-brown, coarse 1.0 to 2.0 mm, 200 g is colored natural aggregate.
Responsibility details are not available.
Two hundred grams of crushed aggregate from the German maker HEKI with a grain size of one to two millimeters in a red-brown shade. Reddish stone matches aggregate with an iron content, which in some regions was used both for beds and for lanes, and on a model it is interesting precisely because it differs from the usual gray. One red-brown siding or lane in the middle of a gray layout draws attention at once.
Pour the ballast on, brush it out into its final form and only then flood it with ballast glue. With a coarser grain the glue has to run in deeper, so apply it slowly and let it soak. It works well to mix the red-brown shade with a gray or brown one, because natural aggregate never has a single color. Two hundred grams covers a decent stretch of lane or siding, so an area can be finished in one go. This is a loose material; do not breathe in the dust and keep it out of the reach of children.
For layout and diorama builders who want to tell lanes and sidings apart by color, and for modelers building clayey country. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
