A flag on an antenna is a detail anybody recognizes on a model at first glance, and at the same time it is hard to come by. The sheet offers it in 1:72 scale together with other small markings of Ukrainian vehicles from 2014 and 2015: the insignia of battalions and vehicle numbers. It is exactly this small thing that turns a general model into a particular machine.
The name lists three groups of motifs: flags for an antenna, battalion insignia and vehicle numbers. The exact composition and the counts are given in the instructions enclosed with the sheet. It pays to go through the sheet before building: from the number of motifs you can tell how many vehicles you will finish from one sheet and which markings you will keep for later.
A flag behaves differently on a model from flat markings: it needs a carrier, usually a thin wire or a drawn-out fiber, and to be folded over it. Apply the flat motifs onto a glossy surface, cut them out together with the backing, soak them for a few seconds in lukewarm water and move them onto the model once they come free. Draw the water off, let them dry and unify the surface with a matte varnish. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive version, because a soaked self-adhesive film is ruined.
The decal sheet is supplied on its own. Wire for the antenna, paints, varnish and a model are not included, unless stated otherwise.
