A spare nozzle cap with a diameter of four tenths of a millimeter for airbrushes of the Aventus line. The cap surrounds the nozzle and directs the stream of air around it. The diameter of four tenths corresponds to the setup for work on large areas and for thicker paints.

Why the cap matters

The cap decides how the paint breaks up into droplets in the stream of air. A dented or bent cap throws the spray off to the sides and the tool starts spraying asymmetrically even when it is otherwise clean. It is at the same time the part that gets damaged most easily, because it sits at the tip of the tool and does not survive a fall or careless cleaning with a hard tool.
