An injection-molded plastic kit of the American strategic transport aircraft Douglas C-133B Cargomaster in 1:144 scale from the manufacturer Roden. The package contains light gray plastic sprues, clear parts and a decal sheet. The model is to be assembled and painted.
The C-133 Cargomaster was a large turboprop transport aircraft of the US Air Force with a roomy cargo hold. The C-133B version differed in its rear loading doors, which made loading bulky items easier. The aircraft was used to carry heavy military equipment, large missiles and outsize loads included, and was one of the pillars of the long-range air logistics of its era.
On a large aircraft that looks all-metal, take care over clean joints on the fuselage and the leading edges, and dry-fit the parts. Use thin modeling cement for the plastic. A primer is recommended to even the surface out, and spraying with an airbrush; the metal surfaces benefit from metallic shades, which are best stirred thoroughly and applied over a smooth base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
