Model-Set is a complete starter set with an injection-molded plastic kit of the American carrier-based multirole fighter Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet in 1:144 scale from Revell. The great advantage is that besides the model the package also contains basic paints, a brush and glue — everything needed for the build is together in one place, an ideal gift and an entry into modeling. The set also offers external stores with pylons, missiles, bombs and drop tanks.
The F/A-18E Super Hornet is a modern single-seat carrier-based multirole fighter of the US Navy, a larger and more powerful development of the older Hornet. It handles both air combat and attacks on ground and surface targets and forms the backbone of the air power on the decks of American aircraft carriers. The small 1:144 scale makes it a compact and quick build.
Glue the parts with the enclosed cement for plastic and sand the seams down. Finish the cockpit first, then close the fuselage up. Apply the enclosed paints with the brush in thin coats; paint the small external stores before they are fitted. Before the decals we recommend coating the surface with gloss varnish.
The set contains paints, a brush and glue. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted — everything needed for the build is part of the package.
