Royal Model 1:16 Base n.1

This is a diorama base of cast polyurethane resin in the large 1:16 scale. It is not a vehicle kit nor a figure but a base part on which you seat the finished model or bust and so round out a scenic presentation. The surface carries a relief texture of terrain ready for filling, painting and fitting with accessories.

Use

  • Clean the casting of the remains of casting blocks and of any mold release agent.
  • Fill small bubbles or gaps with modeling putty and sand them down with respiratory protection.
  • Paint the base with an airbrush or a brush, and bring the depths out with washes and drybrushing.
  • Glue the accessories and the figure with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).

It is supplied as a resin casting, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the figure are not included in the package.

No. It is a diorama base of resin on which you seat a finished model or figure.

Cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) is recommended, with the gaps filled with putty and a primer applied before painting.

They are not. The base is supplied on its own, unpainted; the paints and the figure have to be bought separately.
