1:16 Demijohn Glass is a resin demijohn, that is a large glass vessel, as a diorama accessory at 120 mm.
Responsibility details are not available.
A scale rendering of the large bellied glass vessel of the kind still used for wine, oil or drinking water. The resin casting is intended for 1:16 scale, so beside a large model of a tank or a soldier it creates exactly the kind of civilian detail that gives a scene credibility.
In Italian and southern European yards demijohns stood against a wall, usually in a wicker basket that protected the glass against knocks. They turn up in period photographs of country holdings, on the beds of supply vehicles and in ruins, where household fittings were all that was left of the inhabitants. A single thing like this in the corner of a base reveals that the fighting took place among people and their property.
The best results come from layering: a gloss black or dark green base, translucent green over it and finally a heavy coat of gloss varnish. Suggest the highlights with thin white strokes drawn with a brush along the outline. If you complete the vessel with a casing of thin string soaked in thinned glue, you gain a wicker basket and with it another dimension of detail.
It is a single accessory, not a whole set of fittings.
