This is a set of waterslide decals in 1:24 scale from the Czech maker Mf zone. It makes it possible to build a model of the Ford Sierra Cosworth 4x4 in the rendition of Marc Duez's crew from the 17th running of the Belgian Rallye du Condroz in 1990. It is not a kit: it is an accessory which carries the color scheme, the race number and the period sponsor livery onto a finished painted model.

The real subject

The Ford Sierra RS Cosworth 4x4 was the top competition version of the Sierra, with all-wheel drive and a forced-induction four-cylinder, entered in Group A. Marc Duez is a respected Belgian driver and the Rallye du Condroz is one of the traditional Belgian tarmac events. The rendition carries the period livery from the 1990 running.

Use

Coat the model to a gloss base, release the decals after a soak in lukewarm water and settle them onto a decal softener. Once they have dried, cover them with a clear coat so that the edges blend with the paint of the body and the livery is protected.
