An injection-molded kit of the rally legend in Martini Lancia team colors from the Hasegawa brand. The limited edition captures Juha Kankkunen's car from the 1991 Race of Champions exhibition event. The package contains plastic parts, photo-etched metal, rubber tires and decals with the Martini color scheme.
The Lancia Delta HF Integrale is among the most successful rally cars in history. The 16V version with a turbocharged four-cylinder and all-wheel drive dominated the world championship at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s. The 1991 Race of Champions on the Jarama circuit near Madrid was a knockout contest of champions on a mixed surface; in the final Juha Kankkunen beat Didier Auriol.
The Martini color scheme is demanding on the decals — work with plenty of water and a decal softener, and lay gloss varnish under the decals. Attach the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The rally look is completed by a light dusting in the wheel arches and flatter tones on the running gear, while the body stays glossy. The Martini colors and the sponsor markings are the key to the overall impression, so give them extra attention.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
