The Lancia Stratos HF was the first car designed specifically for rally competition. Thanks to its short wheelbase, its wedge-shaped Bertone body and its mid-mounted six-cylinder Ferrari engine it had exceptional agility in corners and on twisting mountain stages. It became one of the most successful rally cars of its day and took several world championship titles as well as repeated wins on the demanding Monte-Carlo Rally.
Smooth the body carefully before painting and apply a primer so that the period livery stands out. Apply the gloss coat in several thin layers and polish it once it has dried. Apply the sponsor decals onto a gloss base and seal them with a matte or gloss varnish according to the surface. Work up the interior, the dashboard and the roll cage before closing the body.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
