Messerschmitt Bf 109G-5 1:24 (Red Fox Studio) is a 3D printed color instrument panel for detailing the cockpit of a model of this German fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an accessory for the plastic model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-5 fighter in 1:24 scale from the Hungarian manufacturer Red Fox Studio. It is not an airplane kit but a 3D printed color instrument panel (and the related details) on a decal carrier that replaces or supplements the plastic panel from the box and gives the cockpit realistic depth and legible dials.
The Bf 109 was the main German fighter of the Second World War. The G-5 version belonged to the Gustav series with the Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine, and as one of the versions it had a pressurized cockpit for combat at high altitude; its recognition feature was the bulges of the gun fairings on the nose.
The part has a raised, uneven surface with the relief of the instruments. Cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) is best for gluing it, though PVA glues can be used as well. The detail will take a light darkening with oil or acrylic paint; the part can be bent slightly or sanded for an exact fit.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
