This is an accessory for car models in 1:24 scale from the Hungarian manufacturer Red Fox Studio. The set contains 3D printed color decals of American state license plates on a decal carrier with a raised, uneven surface that gives the plates a realistic relief effect. It is the second part (vol.02) of this line and offers further plate designs from the individual US states.
The accessory raises the fidelity of a finished car model with a detail that usually does not come in the box. The relief surface imitates the embossed letters and numbers of a real sheet-metal plate.
Cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) is best for gluing the part, though PVA or other modeling glues can be used as well. The surface will take a light darkening with oil or acrylic paint to bring the detail out; the part can be shaped slightly or sanded.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The car model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
