1:32 A-7E Corsair II pilot sitting in ejection seat SJU-8/A (3D Printed) is a printed figure of a pilot sitting in an SJU-8/A ejection seat.
Responsibility details are not available.
A printed figure of a pilot in 1:32 scale, rendered already seated in an ejection seat of the SJU-8/A type. The set is intended for the cockpit of a model of the American A-7E Corsair II carrier attack aircraft. The figure is designed together with the seat, so it sits in it naturally and the usual fettling, where a figure will not fit into the space, falls away. Printing can manage the folds of the flight suit, the harness straps and a busy helmet.
The A-7E was the most widespread version of the Corsair II carrier attack aircraft. Compared with the earlier forms it was given a more powerful turbofan engine and better navigation and targeting equipment, thanks to which it counted in its day as an exceptionally accurate bomb carrier. The SJU-8/A seat belonged to the updated fitting and replaced the earlier type on some of the machines. The difference between the seats is clearly visible on a model with the canopy open.
The printed parts are held on thin supports. Snip them off close to the figure and level the face with a scalpel. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting. Try the fit into the cockpit dry; the helmet decides whether the canopy will bed down. Build the face up in layers from shadow to light and add the eyes at the very end.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
