A set of plastic historical figures, British infantry (the Napoleonic Wars), in 1:32 scale from the output of the brand Mars Model. It is not one model but a set of soldiers in various poses to be assembled, painted and used in dioramas. The package holds twelve figures. The 1:32 scale corresponds to the classic figure size of roughly 54 mm.
The real subject is the line infantry of the British army of the Napoleonic Wars period. British infantrymen are famous for their red coats, which gave them the nickname redcoats, and for their disciplined volley fire, which played a key part in the decisive Battle of Waterloo in 1815 as well. The set is an ideal counterpart to French units and makes it possible to build a scene from the clashes in which British infantry faced Napoleon's army.
Carefully cut the parts of the figures off the sprue and clean up the excess. Glue them with a modeling cement for plastic, and cyanoacrylate glue helps on fine gaps. Apply a base coat (a primer) before painting. Paint the figures with a brush detail by detail: the red coats, the white crossbelts, the equipment and the faces; a little shading and a wash will bring out the folds of the uniforms and the details.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
