The Flyhawk wooden deck lines paint mask 0.4 mm is a self-adhesive masking stencil with which regular seams between the planks are created on a ship model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A self-adhesive masking stencil for ship models. Instead of laboriously drawing the seams between deck planks, you stick a mask with regular stripes onto the sprayed deck, spray over it in a darker shade and remove the mask. The result is parallel lines at a constant pitch, which hand drawing can hardly match. This version has a line width of four tenths of a millimeter, the finest of those offered.
The surface has to be smooth and perfectly dry, otherwise the mask will not stick and paint will creep under it. Stick the stencil down, press the edge with a fingernail or a spatula and spray the paint in thin coats, so that no ridge builds up at the edge. Remove the mask while the coat is only touch-dry, not after it has fully cured; pull it off at an angle and slowly. Try the procedure out on a piece of plastic before you start; it is quicker than repairing a deck.
For ship modelers who paint a deck and want a regular result, and for anyone who needs repeating thin lines on a model. The finest width suits above all smaller scales and finely rendered decks.
Ventilate while spraying and protect your airways. Store the mask on a backing, away from dust.
