This is not an aircraft kit but an extensive set of photo-etched metal parts, which replaces and complements the internal equipment of the cockpit of a plastic model. Included are color-printed parts for the instrument panel and the control panels, with which the laborious filling in of the dials falls away, and further unpainted parts for the small equipment, such as machine gun magazines, control rods and braces. In its extent this is a full set for the interior, not a narrowed selective variant.
Cut the parts out with a sharp knife on a hard surface, make the bends along the scored line and glue with cyanoacrylate glue in a small amount. The pre-painted parts must not be degreased with an aggressive solvent, as that would damage the printing; a light wipe with alcohol along the edges where they are glued is enough. Reckon with having to pare off some of the plastic parts so that the photo-etched ones seat.
The Heinkel He 111 was a German twin-engined bomber, and the P version was among its early forms with a glazed nose and Daimler-Benz engines. Thanks to the glazing the crew compartment was clearly visible, so on a model in a large scale it pays to finish the inside off.
The set contains photo-etched parts only. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
