HäT 1:32 Napoleonic Prussian Infantry (Marching) is a set of marching Prussian infantry in a larger scale for detailed painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:32 scale, the fifty-four millimeter size, from HäT. The figures capture Prussian line infantry of the Napoleonic Wars in a marching stance and come unpainted. The larger scale gives room to pick out the faces, the lace and the equipment that would be lost in 1:72. The set follows on from the other Prussian units of the same scale.
The Prussian infantry went through a deep reform after the defeat of 1806. The new army built on shorter training, on the territorial defense and on officers chosen for ability rather than birth. In the campaigns of 1813 to 1815 the reform proved itself: the Prussian regiments stood up to long marches and, on the decisive days, arrived where they were needed.
Wash the figures in lukewarm water with detergent, dry them and spray them with a flexible primer. In 1:32 scale it pays to underpaint the face, pick the eyes and lips out and carry the shadows with a glaze rather than a dry brush. Mix the dark blue coat lighter than seems right and add the shadow with a glaze afterwards. Draw the white straps with a confident stroke, as at this scale every slip shows.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
