Reskit 1:32 S-24 missiles with APU-68 is a resin set of four unguided S-24 rockets with APU-68 launchers in 1:32 scale. It is armament for aircraft models, not a model in itself.

This set is not an airplane model but a set of external stores. According to its name it contains four unguided S-24 rockets including the APU-68 launchers, and it is meant to be hung under the wings or on the fuselage pylons of models in 1:32 scale. Compared with injection-molded plastic, the resin castings have crisper fin edges and a cleaner surface with no parting line down the middle of the rocket body.
The S-24 is a heavy unguided rocket of 240 millimeter caliber, one rocket to a launcher. It is carried by the APU-68 launch unit, which is hung on the pylon of the aircraft. According to its name the set is intended for a broad group of machines, specifically the MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-27, MiG-29, Su-7, Su-17, Su-25, Su-24 and the Mi-24 helicopter. The rocket is among the largest in its class and even in 1:32 scale it is a conspicuous item that markedly changes the silhouette of a model in a full weapons fit.
First wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water so that no mold release agent is left on the surface. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutting disc, and with long slender bodies work in a support so that the casting does not snap. Wet sand the cuts with respiratory protection and do not breathe in resin dust. Join them with super glue, that is, cyanoacrylate; cement for plastic does not work here. Apply a primer before painting. With external stores it pays to paint them separately off the model and fit them at the very end, after the varnish and the decals, since they are otherwise hard to mask and easily damaged.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
