A set of the MHU-191/M munitions transporter, also designated AERO 21A, in 1:32 scale, including adapters for missiles. An accessory for a deck scene, not an aircraft kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set captures the American naval MHU-191/M munitions cart, also listed under the AERO 21A designation, and adapters for holding missiles come with it. This is not an aircraft kit, but an accessory that is built separately and placed next to a model or into a scene.
On the deck of an aircraft carrier nothing is carried anywhere by hand. Both bombs and guided missiles are brought to the aircraft by low carts that are hitched behind a tractor and have to pass under the wing of a parked machine. The MHU-191/M belongs to exactly this family of transporters. The adapters make it possible to carry even missiles on the cart, which would not lie stably on a bare platform.
For builders of carrier aircraft in 1:32 scale and for dioramas of operations on an aircraft carrier. The set gives the model a setting and helps explain how the armament actually gets under the wing. It also suits as a standalone accessory to a display case with larger models.
The package contains only the accessory stated. The aircraft, the munitions, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
