Star Decals 1:48 Indochine, part 3 — R.B.C.E.O. Shermans and M36s is a sheet of wet decals with the markings of French Sherman tanks and M36B2 tank destroyers from Indochina.

A sheet of water-lifted (wet) decals in 1:48 scale from the maker Star Decals. It offers markings for the French Sherman tanks and M36 tank destroyers of the R.B.C.E.O. unit from the war in Indochina; it covers the M4, the M4A1, the M4 with a welded front (Composite), the M4 armed with a 105mm howitzer and the M36B2 tank destroyer. It is a separate decal sheet, not a kit.
The Sherman was the most widespread Allied medium tank of the Second World War, built in a number of versions; the M36B2 was a tank destroyer with a 90mm gun on a related chassis. The French colonial armored units, among them the R.B.C.E.O., deployed them in Indochina, where the machines carried distinctive unit and tactical markings captured on this sheet.
Apply the decals onto a smooth surface provided with a gloss varnish, so that silvering does not occur under the film. At 1:48 scale work carefully: after sliding them off the soaked paper, use a softener and a setting solution. Finally go over the area with a matte or semi-gloss varnish, which unifies the decal with the surrounding paint.
