Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:32 scale, that is roughly fifty-five millimeters for a standing figure. It represents musketeers, that is the line infantry of the Württemberg contingent of the time of the Napoleonic Wars. In this series the manufacturer supplies eighteen figures in a package. This is not a model of a vehicle or an aircraft: they are figures to be finished off and painted.
The Kingdom of Württemberg was one of the states of the Confederation of the Rhine and its army marched at the side of the French. Württemberg infantrymen appeared in the campaigns against Austria and in the Russian expedition, from which only a fraction of them returned. Musketeers made up the majority of the foot corps: they were line infantrymen with a musket and a bayonet who fought in close formation. The distinguishing mark of the Württemberg infantry was a crested helmet, which differed clearly from the ordinary shakos of the other armies.
First wash the figures in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry, otherwise a residue of mold release agent will stay on them and the paint will peel away. Take the mold seam off with a blade held at an angle rather than square on. Apply a base coat before painting, ideally in a light shade, on which the details of the uniform will stand out. Uniforms look best with shadow in the folds and light on the raised places, for which two tones above and below the base color are enough.
