This injection-molded plastic kit from Trumpeter represents the self-propelled transporter erector launcher (TEL) 51P6A with the 40N6 missile, which is part of the Russian S-400 Triumf air defense system. The extensive set contains more than a thousand parts, metal and photo-etched components and rubber tires.
The S-400 Triumf is a modern Russian long-range air and missile defense system. The 51P6A TEL on a heavy wheeled chassis carries containers with long-range 40N6 guided missiles intended to destroy aircraft, guided missiles and ballistic targets. The system is one of the key elements of Russian air defense.
Assemble the chassis with the drivetrain, the axles and the suspension first, and then the superstructure with the containers. Paint the hydraulics and the erecting mechanism of the launcher separately. An airbrush is recommended, followed by washes and pigments to bring out the detail and to create dust effects. Mask the clear parts of the cab.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
