Firma49 1:35 Antenna mount - WWII German AFV is a resin detail accessory: a set of radio antenna mounts, or bases, for German military vehicles of the Second World War in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin set of accessories, not a model of a vehicle. The package holds miniature bases and mounts for a radio antenna of the kind fitted to German armored and wheeled vehicles during the Second World War. It serves to replace a simplified part from a kit with a more faithful copy and to bring the superstructure of a 1:35 model to life.
The antenna base was a small but conspicuous feature on the hull or the turret of tanks and halftracks. It brings out the realistic look of a vehicle and suits dioramas and finely built models in particular, where the equipment is viewed close up.
First wash the parts free of mold release residue, cut the casting blocks off carefully and dry fit them. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. We recommend a base coat of primer and then matching the shade to the vehicle; the weathering can be finished with a wash and pigments.
This is a detail accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
