Aber Bofors L/45 (wz.36) 1:35 is a photo-etched metal detail set for plastic models of the Polish 37 mm anti-tank gun. It is not a kit but a refining accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a detail photo-etched set from the Polish manufacturer Aber for models of the 37 mm Bofors wz.36 anti-tank gun in 1:35 scale. The package contains fine parts of etched brass sheet, which replace the coarser plastic elements and refine the fine structure of the carriage, the shield and the mechanisms of the gun. Note: it is not a model of the gun but a metal accessory fitted to a plastic kit you have already bought.
The 37 mm wz.36 anti-tank gun was the Polish license-built version of the Swedish Bofors gun with an L/45 barrel. In the second half of the 1930s it was among the best in its class and it was the main anti-tank weapon of the Polish army in the campaign of 1939. It was marked out by its split trails and its low shield.
The photo-etched parts are cut off with a sharp knife or with special scissors, bent over a photo-etch bending tool or a metal ruler and glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with epoxy. It is worth dry-fitting the fine latticed and solid elements of the carriage before gluing. Degrease the metal and prime it before painting.
This is a photo-etched metal accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
