This is not a model of a vehicle but a set of photo-etched brass parts from the Polish company Aber. The vol. 2 set focuses on the fenders and their brackets for models of the German light armored half-tracks of the early version, the Sd.Kfz. 250 Alte, the Sd.Kfz. 252 and the Sd.Kfz. 253. The thin metal parts replace the coarser plastic fenders.
The Sd.Kfz. 250 was a German light armored half-track carrier of the Second World War; the Sd.Kfz. 252 served as an armored ammunition carrier and the Sd.Kfz. 253 as an armored observation vehicle. The designation Alte (old) refers to the early version of the hull with multi-part, more angular armor.
The fenders are cut off the fret, cleaned up and bent along the etched lines (a photo-etch bending tool helps). They are glued with super glue. Degrease the metal before painting and prime it with a primer for metal.
This is an accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
