The product is a 3D printed, fully painted instrument panel with interior details from Red Fox Studio in 1:35 scale. The thin self-adhesive backing carries a raised relief of the instruments and imitation glossy dial glass. It is not a helicopter model but an accessory for detailing the cockpit of the matching kit of this type and scale. The target kits are Academy and Revell.
The Bell UH-1C was the armed gunship version of the famous UH-1 Huey utility helicopter. Compared with the transport versions it was given a strengthened rotor system and was adapted to carry weapon systems; it was used above all in the fighting in Vietnam, where it served for fire support and escort.
The relief panel is stuck in place of the original one, ideally with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), though PVA glue will do as well. The surface will take light toning with oil or acrylic paints and can be bent slightly or sanded. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
The accessory is supplied unassembled; paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package.
