Responsibility details are not available.
A set of resin wheels for a model of the British Coyote TSV tactical support vehicle in 1:35 scale. The castings replace the wheels from the kit and bring a crisper off-road tread, a three-dimensional rim and the flattening of the tire under the weight of the vehicle. The flattening in particular matters on this type: the Coyote is a heavy load carrier and in photographs its tires are noticeably loaded. The set is not a model of the vehicle; it is an addition to an existing kit.
The Coyote TSV is a British six-wheeled support vehicle built on the HMT chassis from Supacat. It complements the Jackal patrol vehicles, with which it shares the open-bodied layout, the crew armor and the same armament, but it has a markedly larger load area and payload. The vehicle proved itself in Afghanistan, where it supplied patrols in terrain an ordinary truck could not reach. The high ground clearance and the large wheels are among its most striking features.
Wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water to get rid of the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and level the face with abrasive paper, protecting your breathing. Glue the wheels with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Do not rub the tires with black; a dark gray with a hint of brown keeps the detail of the tread. Apply a sandy pigment to the sides and the bottom of the tread so that the wheels match a dusty environment.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
