Responsibility details are not available.
A complete diorama base depicting a muddy dirt road of the Eastern Front in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle model but a finished foundation for a scene, with worn ruts and muddy ground, ideal for vehicles and figures in the same scale. The set joins cast plaster parts with laser-cut signs and their posts.
Its main part is a cast plaster base with the texture of a rutted road and mud; plaster is more absorbent than resin, so it takes water-thinnable paints well and wet, muddy surfaces are easy to imitate on it. The laser-cut parts make up the sign posts and various period signs.
Clean the parts up and fill any cracks. The base can be cut and modified as needed; glue with PVA or super glue. Muddy areas come from a combination of washes, pigments and gloss media for wet tracks; age the edges with a dry brush.
The base is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
