A photo-etched add-on set in 1:35 scale for models of military vehicles, intended for the kit from Dragon. Which particular parts it contains is described by the enclosed manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
Photo-etched parts are made from thin metal sheet into which the drawing of the elements is etched chemically. Thanks to their negligible thickness they can replace places that necessarily come out too thick in an injection-molded kit: covers, grilles, brackets, loops or thin sheet-metal parts. On a model of a military vehicle in 1:35 scale it is the fastest way to raise the level of detail.
A photo-etched add-on set in 1:35 scale, intended for the kit from Dragon. The extent of the set and the purpose of the individual parts are in the manufacturer's instructions; follow them for the placement of the parts on the model as well.
The parts are held to the fret by small tabs. Cut through them with a sharp blade on a hard surface and never break them out, otherwise the part will twist. Make the bends in a bending tool or between the jaws of flat pliers, always in one go. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, which you apply in a minimal amount with a pin. Pick the small parts up with fine-tipped tweezers; they jump out of your fingers easily and you will not find them again on a carpet. Degrease the metal before painting and spray it with a primer, otherwise you will strip the finish during handling.
For modelers who already have basic experience of working with etched metal and want to take a model to a higher level of detail. Beginners do well to start with the larger and flat parts. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
